S.ustainability

Back in high school, I use to accompany my parents to permaculture classes on the weekends. I had so much fun learning how to live with nature rather than trying to control it (tip: you can create a type of natural manipulation that will help you acquire perfect environmental conditions- it’s called creating your own eco-system, being mindful, and thinking of all parts of the system from microorganisms on up). To this day, I still don’t understand why anyone would want to ruin your ground water, kill everything in sight, or breathe anything but fresh air. Oh yeah, for money… But we aren’t greedy and want to see this beautiful world get passed onto future generations still in a beautiful condition. So, in our S.ustainability posts, we will talk about not only how we sustain, but show you our gardens, our adventures in homesteading, and share with you our tried and true recipe favorites, as well as new one’s we try out.

Started too late in the day, the Virgo perfectionist in me needed more time. Learned my lesson, animals got it by morning :(
